Granted, they go through a good bit more wear and tear because they're rentals (shipping, etc) but still... their repair rate is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than their Nikon/Canon counterparts. Plus, the actual lens construction (especially on the larger telephotos) is just crappy. The smaller Sigma primes and wide telephotos don't have as many problems, but those big boys just aren't worth the trouble.
