Just based upon what I've read on SR, there are many different reasons why people become addicted...and not everyone behaves the same.
This reminds me...I never understood why "selfishness" is considered a bad thing. I guess the reason I'm confused on that one is because no one ever defines the term. "Selfishness" means something different to everyone. I'm too tired to get into it now...but one thing I do know is that I cannot help anyone unless I take care of myself first.
