I think Rusty and Least said it best...I am Catholic also, and I do not believe that a sip of The Precious Blood on Sunday is a slip. However, I recently had a terrible cold, and my doc. said it was ok for me to use Nyquil in its recommended dose. I decided not to do it because I was afraid it would start me on a slippery slope....how long would I use the Nyquil for? If I sneezed once some day, would I use that as an excuse to take Nyquil? Those were my personal thoughts, relating to me only, so I did not use the Nyquil.

I did drink once since I first seriously decided to get sober (three glasses of champagne on my wedding anniversary and I was a little drunk) so I decided to reset my sobriety date.

Those are my experiences, but I like best what Rusty and others said "To thine own self be true".

Excellent thread, thanks
