Lets put it this way. If your fears are accurate, then based on what you quoted about crack lung disease, there is no remedy other than going on Prednisone, which they would not put someone your age on unless you have long term history of pulmonary distress that does not change with time.
What if the doctor is right and you do not have any serious long term problem?
How many people out there have researched the internet for something they wanted to know about, because they thought they had some medical problem, and then lo and behold, you find out more than you wanted to know and all of a sudden you read about a disorder and think you have all the symptoms and now you are convinced you have not only that one but fourteen other disorders you "accidentally" read while surfing the web? I think we all have. Relax. Maybe you should see a mental health specialist for anxiety if your fears do not subside.
