I finally threw in the towel when I was truly tired of being sick and tired of getting my a** repeatedly kicked by alcohol and having it ruin & rob my life... Always liked to think of certain dates before that had a meaning to me to quit but as it's turning out, 1/16 takes on a special meaning now where before it was just another day! It's the day I surrendered and faced the facts of my addiction. I took my life back!
Glad you found us here! There's always another who "gets" where you're coming from and can support you! We are all in this together and now your part of the team!
