Thank you Morning Glory for all the reading materials you have posted. I can't tell you how much they have helped me. My AH hasn't drank in 8 days and is going for counseling on Tuesdays. Although he hasn't been completely honest with his counselor (he told me everything he told her), I'm hoping that she can see through his lies. He's blaming his drinking on the guilt that he has for cheating on me, forcing me to sell our dream home and many of our belongings(HOT TUB!) and now we are renting a house. My question to him was" What was your excuse for drinking the rest of the 12 years we've been together?" He's making it sound like this is something new. I'm giving him 2 months to stay sober and make a serious effort to work on our marriage. If it doesn't work, then I will be forced to end this marriage. I'm going to my first f2f al-anon meeting on tuesday night. I hope this will help me help myself. Again thank you.
