Running / walking / fitness for sobriety.

(Granted, I am crazy...)

I started running again this year on New Year's Day. I put in 8 runs so far in 2009.

Today it is 9F degrees (-12C) here in Northern PA, I ran 5 miles in the ice & snow. I dressed warmly (maybe even too warmly) and it was a great run. Fascinating, invigorating, stimulating, and motivating.

It really makes me proud of myself, it builds up my self esteem stamina.

And right now, after that run, the FURTHEST THING FROM MY MIND IS DRINKING OR USING DRUGS!
