Yesterday, I had to pack up an amplifier that I sold on eBay. It had some problems, and I was selling it 'for repair'. Still, I had it hooked up in the living room and had been using it for quite some time. I buy and sell old stereo equipment, and usually use stuff for a while myself before I turn it over. Anyway, I unplugged the cord from the unit, and got it all packed up, double boxed for extra protection, and dropped it off at the post office. As I was getting ready to email my customer to thank them and notify them of shipment, I got the feeling that I forgot something...
The power cord is still plugged into the power strip...
