I let slip what my occupation was months ago Nands.

I'm lucky enough to be one of only eight lighthouse keepers working in Scotland still.

Our lighthouse is more of a museum for tourists these days to be honest.

Yes, we can still work at manually when required but an automatic one is already in service to replace us, if or when the tourists dry up .................

There are 51 lighthouses in Scotland but most of them are automated remotally, as I say only 8 actual keepers left.
