Makes me remember that part of the movie MY FAIR LADY, with Rex Harrison singing "Why can't the English... learn to speak". The part where he says, "... in America they haven't used it in years!" Yes, the USA usurped the english language and beat it into submission!
Now we speak "american" here, cause any relationship with the true english language is long gone. Sarah Palin proved that without a doubt!
...or, as Rex Harrison said, "... the cold blooded murder of the english tongue..."
