One of the tricks I've used for several problems is to focus on what I can/will do.

So, when I "can't eat" meaning something good...I focus on what would i be willing to eat (smoked oysters) and i eat that.

So when I "cant/wont" do the kitchen clean up or the trash...what will i do...call a freind, go out with the dogs, clean my glasses...anything.

Don't know if that will help, but you know it took me along time to get motivated...I'm sluffing off here right now instead of doing what "needs" to be done.
