Yup, I'm know I did, and it's infinitely better than the lying I did to maintain my addictions. It is basically YOUR BUSINESS if you choose not to drink today. You don't owe anybody an explanation. Down the road, when you get a little more secure in your sobriety you may feel obligated to tell others, that will be your choice also. Good Luck.
