I can relate to your joy and hope for your Sister. My Sister, Linda, who had been in the hospital for six weeks as a result of cirrosis of the liver, was due to go from the medical floor to the rehab unit in the hospital on April 3, 1991. Unfortunately, Linda never made it. She died on April 1, 1991. We buried her on April 3, 1991, the day she was to enter treatment. Hopefully, your Sister has reached her bottom and is now ready to go to any length to get Clean & Sober and begin a new life in Recovery. I continued to use even after watching this disease take Linda, but now, with 2 1/2 years Clean & Sober, I celebrate life each day not only for myself, but also for Linda as well.
