You are absolutely right Sharon.
Even though I dont have but 5 days. I know when I do get on a roll. I will need the newcomer to remind me of where I came from. Why I need stay on my path to recovery. And to also help myself grow by maybe holding my hand out for them and lending an ear or just a simple smile of welcome and assurance.

As for the old timers. That is the prize to me. I will need that experience and wisdom to guide me to where I want and need to be. An understanding person that has been there and back and knows how to get what I want so bad. But at the same time isnt going to be fooled by the BS excuses and isnt afraid to say "Hey look...Who do you think your fooling."

I even need the ones like in my family that have never experienced anything like this before. A neutral understanding with love and encouragement. But my family has learned also not to be fooled.

So yes..I need everyone in my recovery.
And Unity IS the only way we can achieve long lasting results.

Thank you as always Sharon for your great topics.
