My First Meeting...
Just wanted to let you guys know I went to my first meeting today. Wow. There I sat in a room full of people who got it. As I listened to those who shared, I found myself nodding like a bobble head doll, because I knew what they meant. Literally knew, not just felt sympathy. After the meeting I spoke to several people who listened to me, didn't judge or criticize, who understood. For any one out there thinking of going to a meeting, run, don't walk. Just, for once, to have real live, honest to God people hear what I needed to say and not only didn't look at me like I had three heads ~they knew exactly where I was coming from, and I was okay.
Can't wait to go again!!!
