This past weekend I went to my brother's wedding, a small gathering of just family from both sides. It was an amazing time, and I am so grateful for all the love and laughs and emotions we shared. I missed all that when I isolated in my codependent worst days and I hope I never miss an opportunity to share love with my family.
No matter what the past gave us, the future is all ours to share love with our friends and family and to know that we too are loved for who we are and not where we have been.
I am grateful today for the reminder this past weekend of how dear my family is to me.
