As a mom, I like, no LOVE this discussion.
As a citizen, however, I feel the need to protect myself from the harm that can result from some of this behavior. Regardless of the source, it is criminal, and often violent.
I think personally, I would like to see more weight put on rehabilitative measures, and less on punishment, but alas, thats been the argument of our justice system for some time.
