Welcome to our community. I've been a member here since May of 2005. This forum has been a true life saver for me. It helps to know that I have someone to turn to 24/7. There are many many wonderful people here that understand exactly what you are going through.
My addict is my husband....20 + year user of crack and 35+ year user of everything else in the book. He has 20 months of sobriety now. I am a card carrying member of just about every 12 step program it seems. Alanon, Naranon, AA, etc. I am almost 1 year sober myself now.
I would really recommend reading all of the stickies at the top of the forum. They are a crash course on all of this addiction/codie stuff. Also, the books by Melodie Beatty are great.
