Dr. Frank Minierth and Dr. Paul Meyer wrote that book. I read it many years ago. It goes through what they consider are ten stages of codependency and how to overcome it. They come from a Biblical perspective, but they are not preachy. I should go back and re-read it. The first time around I didn't "get" it and remained stuck in codependency for many years until I was lucky to find a great shrink.
