From what I just read what you're describing are auditory hallucinations brought on by too much drinking. That's very serious.
I imagine the reason it seems that the doctors are simply shrugging their shoulders is because the solution is in your hands, not theirs. There is no medicine, operation, or therapy that they can give you that will cure you.
You are not chosing between driving and drinking. You are chosing between dying and drinking. I hope you will find a way to get through this to the other side and save yourself. You are worth saving!
