Going to my 1st bar anon meeting, any advice?

Going to my first meeting my fiance is struggling with H addiction. Any advice on what to expect there?

Everyone is a stranger until they walk through the door.....

I was so afraid that someone would recognize me and find out that my child was an addict. It didn't occur to me that we would all be in the room for the same reason, we loved an addict and our lives had become unmanageable.

I am so thankful they were there for me.
