Red face

Ohhhhhhh wooowww!
Thank-you Rusty for sharing "Achieving Harmony" with us.
It makes a lot of sense. It reminds me of the steps in goals.
You may know the big picture you want to achieve. Happiness,
loving relationship, good job yada, yadda, yadda, but you need
to break it down into little steps, or as in "Achieving Harmony"
little parts.

One of my goals: To be sober for the rest of my life. I know it won't
work if thats as far as I think about it.
I have to break it down into little parts, by making a plan.
1. Make a list of reasons I want to quit.
2. Seak help and support, counselor, and SR.
3. Any time I even slightly have an urge look at my list of
reasons why I want to quit, and what can happen if I do.
4. Problem solve in stead of dwell on the problems.
5. If I have a strong urge, talk to my partner.
6. Write an S on the calendar every day I'm sober, because that
makes me feel good, and also makes me own up to my commitment
to me as well as my partner.
7. Choose positive people to spend time with.
8. read motivational books.

So far this is working, and my list grows, the longer I am sober.
I feel healthy, I feel happy, I feel terrific.

There are no problems in life, only solutions
