Where We Live

We have posted our photo's, our names are on the SR map and we have posted pic's of our gardens and pet's, how about posting some photo's of round and about where we live? I'll make a start with a photo of the cloisters sp in our 10 century Abbey.

That abbey is awesome!

Here is a picture of our new bridge being built and a church in the background where I went growing up, my daughter goes sometimes now..I live about 4 blocks up the street from the church. WE used to live in huge church parsonage that was right beside this church. It was a neat old house.

also...........if you've ever watched the Little Leafue World series in August..it is almost in my back yard!! IT's a lot of fun to go to, and an easy walk too!

No idea who the guy in the blue is but this is the outside of Nottingham Castle just a few minutes walk from our home.

I walk down this street most days

The Market Square. When you're a teenager it's where they all meet on the first date! lol 'Yeah, see you on the Market Square steps at 8pm...'

I'm going to come visit you one day, Annie! It is beautiful there...and that abbey..have to see that abbey in person.....the history!! The oldest town here is like from the 1600's........of course visiting with YOU would be the best part...*hugs*

Neolithic burial mounds, Roman ruins and castles with dark, dark dungeons. I know the ones you can put a child in then shout wooooooo!
