It's Hard Work

It's hard work to remain faithful to my routine of physical, emotional and spiritual work every day. It's really hard! I'm tired of winter and I want to get outside and walk for miles in the sunshine instead of exercising inside. I have a very stressful month to get through and I know I have to be on my toes every day. When I am stressed, those feelings of being overwhelmed and out of control are too close for comfort.

I think the reason I'm writing this is because I know I have to work doubly hard for the next month to maintain what sanity I have achieved. I can't shrug it off and go through days without being 'present' or that deadly beast of depression will creep back into my life.

I so know what you mean! Sometimes I just want to " give up", I dont mean that I want to drink, but just to not have to put in the effort required to be " Spiritually Fit", and emotionally well. But , like you , I know that if i dont, depression , and for me , paranoia, and isolation will overtake me .

I find it more difficult in winter, I think I suffer from "SAD", I have lived so much of my life in sunshine, that now I am back down south, the seasons affect me a great deal. I find it much easier to be positive, and physically active in the sunny months.

Thank God we are all here to support each other

HUGX and Prayers coming your way dear friend

Anna you know you've come such a long way in your recovery doing so great. Any chance you can delegate some of the stuff? It's beautiful over here at the moment I am sending Spring to you along with love.

Winter won't be here much longer. Soon we can all get out and stretch our spirits.

I know what you mean about the depression and basically having the "******* it's" (that's what I call it). I had this same conversation about having to stay really busy right now so I don't fall into them.

How about we all keep each other in our prayers.
