Hi Gang

Pauline recently broke her shoulder and is in great pain and unable to type much.

But my guess is that she can read, so I am going to start a "get well" post for her here.

She is under good care, no surgery right now until they see if she heals okay, so just a sling and a lot of pain.

PAULINE - My prayers are with you and I'm sending hugs that dont hurt....

How are you today? I miss you and your post. Get well soon! When I have the baby on my lap, I use one finger to write when I'm on te computer. he sometimes pushes the key board for me too

He doeshave his own little computer with a key board and mouse, but he likes my toys better! Maybe when your up to it, you can use the one finger writing:finger1: And you can do that too

yep it hurts but it could be worse at least they didnt cast it! just wearing a sling. kinda funny when i think about it - fell down in a parking lot and landed on a speed bump lol!!! really!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, and I'm glad it wasn't any worse. One time my mother was out working out in her backyard gardening. She was wearing thongs and tripped by catching something in-between her thong and her foot. She broke her leg in three places, and laid in the yard all night before she was able to get help.

It's amazing how badly you can get hurt in just a fall. I know those things can be very painful too.

I hope you have a speedy recovery. If you want I can bring you over some home-made chicken soup. LOL

hi guys!

i over did it the first few days so i had to take it easy for a while and to be honest i got pretty depressed for a few days too. was supposaed to start my class last tuesday and couldn't, had to drop it. not being able to use my right arm sucks!!! and i was feeling sorry for myself, the pain meds helped also.

then last friday, i was once again reminded of how grateful i should be just to be alive and have my family and all that i have.

my 20 year old nephew was homr from college for the holiday break and was at a party and got shot in the abdomin. the bullet pierced his colon and is lodged in his back, they are going to leave it in the muscle in his back. he is going to be okay. it was an unreal reminder to me how precious life is and the ones we love and me and my little broken shoulder are really not that big of a deal.

they are calling it a gang shooting. the shooter and his friends new my nephew from high school 3 years ago and had a grudge for some reason, walked into this party saw him hit him in the head with a beer bottle, fih\ght started and one of thrm had a gun.

things like dont happen where i live, it is unbelieveable.

but like i said he is going to be okay, his angel was with him for sure.

:council: Yay,Pauly is back to play!!!!!!!!! I missed you and GG your writing is looking like mine! I started to hyper venilate when I was reading about your neiphue! Just last week I was writing about a drive by shooting when I was a kid! Scarry stuff! They are going to leave the bullet in? How odd! I guess he'll be sounding off the security gates at the air port if he flys! GG, my daughter right nowis killing me. She has had a whole month to work on project and she waits until now and it's due tomorrow! I have to go and help her look up stuff on Cheeta's! Lucky me! I'mso happy you are back!

my nephew is doing great!! he is strong and healthy and healing well!!! they still gave not caught the kid that shot him and that is scary. they searched his house but he was gone.

as for me i had a cat scan to see if i needed surgery, thank god the dr said no my shoulder should heal ojay without operating. i should be starting physical therapy soon. i sleep alot from the pain meds they knock me out. i nrver did take them well even when i was using.

i hope you all are well, i miss you all and cant wait to be able tp type with both hands and not take these darn meds.

gotta go my mom is coming to pick me up (still cant drive urrrrrr) to go see my nephew.
