You ever awake in the middle of the night, TERRIFIED....
disoreinted... You know with unceartian fear that something in your world is NOT ok... you bolt upright in bed...listening...what is only meer seconds feels like an eternity...Then You know.... There it is thats what you heard... Your daughter is in the other room haveing a sever asthma attack...Now on your feet...Think...OMG!! Her machine and meds are in the main house... STUPID!!! I was so STUPID!! I just don't think sometimes!!! There is NO excuse!! It does NOT matter!!! I know better I was already taught a hard lesson in keeping the necassary medical equipment around 24-7..!!

Now you are feeling the aftermath all is calm...Except you are shaking so bad...You go into the bath room and as soon as the door close's behind you ...it feels as if the wind has just been kicked out of you...I prayed like I have never prayed b4... I gave thanks for only a warning (this time).

Now as others read this I am aware there may be some feed back.. Some may come in and have 1 of 2 reactions.. Please I ask those who may respond NOT to take away the fact that I am being hard on myself...NO I am not a glutton to punishment... I just need this warning down so that I may be mindful how FATAL a second in time could be because of a single mistake...

I'd say that you've got the warning down, Pie. Please take off the hair shirt now. As a mom, I totally understand how you feel. I don't think there's a mom out there who wouldn't. I understand that you're being pretty hard on yourself right now. But put that energy into thanks to your HP, instead of into beating yourself up, okay? Enough said.
