finding a sponsor?

I live in a very small community and it's been very hard for me to find a female sponsor, I was wondering if there is any women interested in being a temporary sponsor for me? I've had a very hard few weeks and have had cravings and thoughts of using alot and have really been needing someone to talk to and possably start doing the steps with...if interested please let me know. Thank you!

Temporary sponsor

Hey DG -
I am willing to be a closed mouth friend until you can connect with someone where you live. I think it is very important to have that one on one contact with someone. I will im you with my number or I can call you.

For now, I suggest getting to meetings, reading the big book, talking to your higher power (at least twice a day) and picking up the phone. This is not something we can do alone. It is a "we" program.

The thing that was hardest for me was trusting other women. However, I knew if I didn't, I would never make it. I had to pick up the phone and talk with other women to save my ass. It is amazing how magical a phone call can be!

Stay in the moment, one day at a time. This is your life sweetie, I hope you choose to live it, sober.
