Check with your dr. I hope it feels better soon.

You may have scratched you cornea. You may want to see an ophthalmologist. Eyeliner pencils hold bacteria, and you could get a nasty (and painful) corneal infection. I work for an ophthalmologist, I see it alot.

If it hurts when you look at a bright light or waters, burns, aches and tears easily - you could have lacerated the cornea. It will heal - but not usually without a patch and some eye drops. I've done this a couple of times over the years - once with eyeliner and once when my son was a baby his fingernail got me. You might want to get this cheked out. THe only way they can see the laceration is by putting some special drops in the eye and looking at it with a special light. Good luck. You will find it very difficult to study or read or focus unless you get it taken care of.
