Hi Gals! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Just wanted to let you know I have been thinking of you all.
It has been a decision of mine to continue here, but not on a regular basis, as I used to be.
My abf is doing wonderful on the suboxone program, therapy and getting his life in order, and back together from the hydro addiction. Things are soooo good, that it sometimes makes me frightened briefly, as I know , ONE DAY AT A TIME.
He says he never will go back to those things, and he feels better than he has in years. I can only say to those of you struggling, give this program a try.
I have seen him go from rock bottom, to a happy man, with a future.
I have backed away from the site for a while, just trying to keep my positive feelings going, about life in general. Not that I do not think of you all, just that working two jobs is occupying a lot of my time, and the time I do have, well we are doing activities we never could have tried before, due to his lack of energy and where he was with the devil pills.
I hope you all are moving forward with your personal growth, and as always, love to read from you all.

So happy to hear that!

The program has turned my life around as well. As you said, notjust the suboxone, but therapy and working thrugh the core issues.

So happy you get to enjoy your bf feeling positive and upbeat!

Keep yourslef happy, dear, now that he is finding his way!

I am definitely keeping myself happy. It is just so amazing to see his life change, and he actually "feels" every little thing, it is like watching a new discovery every day unfold. He never realized how ill he was, and how much of life he missed for three years. It is funny how they think they have it so together then.......he sees now how truely messed up it was.
Hey struggles, it is great to see you doing so well too. I have always enjoyed reading your posts.......keep up the hard work......and enjoy each moment of the new day!
Angel, glad you made it through your rough spot, it is good to see you with your postive posts, as always! Livewired....I appreciate your comments as well.
I had found hope in all of you, and you helped me in a time when I felt so desperate and low. Being on the other side of the fence to addiction is hellacious. It truely makes us sick,,,but I have refused to let myself remain stagnant, I have done a lot of work myself on me.
To all of you, thanks again, and keep us posted on your recoveries!
