Has anyone read Dr Phil's "Family First" - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I think I'm going to see if it's at my local library as funds are a bit tight, so I wouldn't be able to buy it right now. If I read it, I'll definitely share my opinions about it with you!

I try to avoid Dr. Phil at all costs, especially his knowledge about putting family first...this from a man that left his wife for his mistress.

I read it and it's Very repeditive. Common sense would tell you everything that he preaches. I think it's good only if you are a VERY dysfunctional family. It's not for everyone and he mentions continuously about the way HE raised HIS kids, well sorry but I am not him and some of his ways are plain old wierd. That's my opinion.
I did read James Frey's "A million little pieces and My friend Leonard" and I really enjoyed those. **** four stars!
