Feeling Blah

I agree with Paulie what a great quote Kylah!! Also, I can't tell you how many times I have told not only people in recovery but friends and family about the serenity prayer. Seriously ladies if you find yourself in a low spot say it over and over but really concentrate on the words say it loud hear them and believe and usually it will get you through it, it does for me anyways. I'm struggling a lot today emotionally I hate trying to get back to what I already had be it a short time or a long time. I feel discouraged like, is there really anything better out there for me? Does life get any better than this? Am I always going to battle with these ups and downs, depression, sadness, and thoughts of being able to drink normally? Why do I have to try so much harder at being happy and STAYING that way than others? God ups and downs!!!! Ok, so I guess I will take my own advice and start my serenity prayer but if anyone wants to help me I could really use it. I love words of wisdom and meditations. :tissue

Your words are very inspiring. I know that no matter how hard my day has gone it can be wosre I am upset with my 5th grader right now. Getting over it. My anger is quick to come and go. I don't hold on to it but It is strong. In reading your post some of my anger felt released. thank you very much for your post
