| Jessica A Hey Jess, I live for nap time! Unfortunaly my 5 year old is taking naps too and not wanting to go to sleep until late and it's a big battle getting to get up in the morning to go to school! Ugh, I'm soooooo tired right now. I did get a toes up, but not really enough to make me want to help my 12 year old clean her room! Ha, at least she cleaned up the food mess, so it's sort of sanitary in there! I can however look forward to my 5 year old sleeping tonight, it's been a long day for both of us! My baby 15 months sleeps so good and my 7 year old is much better than she use to be! My teens though stay up late and will sleep the day away if you let them! Ugh, we are dog sitting for a week and a half! Why do i say yes to these things! Why? because the poor dog would be in a kennle and she does not eat when she is in there and here she is loved up and fed lots of treats! ha, her owners are so stricked and would have a cow if they knew she snacks here! Ha, the dog is so mellow at their house and comes here and has a blast! I don't let my kids see me freak out too. I try to do it in private (as much privacy that you can get in this house). I can't even go potty by myself or take a shower without someone hopping in. I do however lock myself in the bathroom when I need a ciggarett! I do not want to give the kids 2nd hand smoke, but I also need my fix right!Zoomer |

Zoomer I understand what you mean. My kids all seem to nap at different times and no matter how hard I try, I cannot keep them on the same level. That is why I was so shocked yesterday when I saw that the three I had at home were asleep. What is even weirder is I didn't know what to do with myself. It was like I had nothing to do. No kids to care for at the moment, no big household cleaning to really jump on. (Didn't want to vacuum, etc...for fear of waking them. =0) I was lost. lol. We do need our freak out times though I believe. Just like kids cry when their feeling down, we have that right too. I find that when I've cried, I actually feel better, like I've had this flood in me and now that some of the water was released, so was part of the weight on my shoulders. I think that is a good sign. =0) Take care, Jessica |

Naps! The clock ticks and it's after ten count down for the naps begin! snack time, craft time the clock moves more as little feet zoom across the floor. Eleven is our "happy hour" reading books and drawing flowers. inching forward in a crawl the clock seems smaller on the wall. It's lunch time hip, hip horray- it's almost time to stop our play! Clean up we are amost there as Zachy fusses in his chair. Heating the bottle holding him tight- ummmm I say this is the life! He is down for the count 1,2,3- now is time just for me! I'm not use to a lot of time for myself either, but we got to take what we can! Zoomer |

| My 15 month old is on a very good schedule like clock work, my 5 year old is mellow for the most part during nap time. If all the kids are home forget it! My girls that are 5 and 7 now use to take 3 hour naps everyday and go down good at night when they were younger. It was heaven! I guess sence they started preschool, it was over! Being a stay at home mom has it's advantages and disadvantages. At any givin day I can probibly give you both sides of the issue! I do miss being around adults though! I love the computer though cuz I can leave my typing and go and interact, then jump back on again! I'm glad you are feeling better and not shaking any more!Zoomer |

I would have to totally agree with you on the staying at home with the kids. Today would be an excellent time for me to tell about how my kids are being little toads. The boys will not lay down for the life of me. My youngest has thrown fits all day and refuses to listen to a word I say. My girls have tried my patience too. My oldest through a full can of pop because her sister was whining and so I made her clean it up and go to her room and she pulls her sisters hair because she got into trouble and Autumn didn't. Sometimes kids are so hard to understand. My youngest use to nap really good too. He would nap anywhere from 2 to 4 hours right after lunch and then go to bed at 8 like clockwork, lately he's grown a set of wings and has decided that things need to go his way or he'll let everyone in the neighborhood know just how pissed he is. Uggg, ready to pull my hair out today. Definitely a day to go to NA. =0) Take care Jessica |

| Poor Jess! I do try and remember that the kids are all excited about a holiday, but I have to agree on the toad part! I took my two girls shopping for last minute stuff, age 7 and 5! They would not stop hitting eachother and chasing eachother in the store. Now I was already tired from trying to do 3 women's jobs and was not in the mood! I am very proud to say I swatted one of them on the butt. Not hard, but enough to let her know "hey knock it off". Of course it lasted for about 5 seconds for both of them to behave! Now, my 16 year old wanted to go to a friends, so my husband took him, the two girls are in the bath probibly making a horrible mess, the baby is crying in his crib because he hears the girls and I just want me time! I'm with you all the way in wanting to scream!!!!!!! Opps I hear water running and have to go check and make sure there is not a flood!Zoomer |
