Well, my opening day is this Saturday, and I'm starting to feel nervous. I handed out flyers, and put an ad in a small local paper, but I'm nervous about thinking what if no-one shows up. I'll feel mortified. I'm also a little worried about my daughter. She had two bloody stools, and we took her to the Dr. today. She also has fever. They are doing some different types of testing on her, urine, blood, and we have to take in a stool sample. Hopefully it's nothing serious. She is scheduled to have surgery next week to remove her tonsils and her adenoids. She has sleep-apnea, and snores very loudly. Supposedly if she has this surgery it will eliminate that. Right now though I think they will probably want to re-schedule the surgery in light of this illness. We'll know of Friday after she has her pre-op appointment. I'm terrible when it comes to things like this, especially anything to do with my daughters health. I right away start imagining the worst. I have to learn not to do that, because all that accomplishes is me feeling extremely stressed out over something I have no control over. The first thing that came to my mind was if someone had done something to her, but she said no and there is no indication of any trauma to her genital area. The simpelest thing, which it most likely is, is that she was constipated and had some hard stools, which could cause a little tear up inside. So I'll just think that, and not anything worse until I know different. Juls |

Juls - I am just like you, I think the worst. but you are right, thinking like that gets us know where - give it to God! He will take care of you and your daughter he sure has so far!! And you are right it is probably something as simple as what you described. You and your daughter are always in my prayers. Now for your opening, I wish I could be there (you know we will all be there with you in spirit). You are going to be great, and I am sure people would come, if you were in my town and I got your flyer I would sure come. God has led you this far,he is not going to let you down now. You are doing great. In my opinion being nervous is totally normal, just don't let it overcome you. Keep focused and remember to ask God to take away your anxiety. You have accomplised so much, and it is just the beginning for you. Love to you!

Juls Good luck on your opening....I'm sure it will go well for you. And your daughter is in my prayers. It is always such a worry when things like this are happening, but turning it over and trusting God to look after her will lighten your load,

Juls, sweetie, I am with you, too! And remember, it takes time to establish a business. Just take it "one day at a time" . . . like anything else. You will be successful . . . keep programming positive thoughts your way. (and I will too!!) And prayers for your daughter, I'm sure she is fine -- just constipated. Blood in her stool could indicate nothing more than straining. And her tonsillectomy will be fine -- I have 100% faith in that. It's such a common surgery these days. Remember that. Surgeons perform a zillion tonsillectomies/adenoidecomies a year. Give her lots of love, ice cream, and ginger ale after her surgery. And she'll be great within a couple of days!! (Lord, I'm WAY too old to remember this, but you brought up memories of my own tonsillectomy. . . the anesthesiologest asking about "Mickey Mouse" and his buddies (and I was 4!!!!! at the time), the ginger ale, the ice cream, and then. . . playing like nothing had ever happened to me.) Juls, I always look for your posts and your updates. You and I don't know each other, but we are sisters (as I've said before). Hugs and Love, Syl |

I've been following and I want to say that I admire your Strength! Your opening will be great. You make up your mind. Control those negative thoughts. Our minds are nasty neighborhoods sometimes. Stress can do lots of things to our bodies. If your dghter is having surgery, she may be nervous about it. Remember we can only do so much, and diagnosing and fixing her is not in our power. You are so strong, I have felt it through your recent crisis, and road back to recovery... |

Juls, Best of luck on Saturday. You are incredible the way you pulled your self up and out and then started a business. That took a lot of inner strength. It does take time to build a business. Once the word of mouth gets around you will have it made. Let us know how your daughter is. Hugs, MG |
