I sure understand that. I lived most of my life in fear - I made all my decisions, large and small based on fear. It's only in the last 4 or 5 years that I've tried to move into the light and live life differently.

Hello and I am glad to see you here. I am sharebear and my husband uses the same name and he is Glenn. And without this place I am not sure where we would be right now! And also I am not trying to be rude or anything but do you go to a meeting al least once a week? Because if you have been clean that long then you should look into meeting's and go to a meeting if you are having a bad day! You meet a lot of people there and you can get a sponser if you would like! But I for one have not got that far yet I still have to get mmy methadone drink daily and have no time for meeting's but I do know that when I don't have the clinic anymore I'm goin to meeting's but anyway's welcome

Welcome! I can relate to your name too - but as Sharebear says, going to meetings sure has helped me not only not drink, but also has made me so much less afraid. You've come to the right place. And you're not alone.

Its more important to focus on yourself and love yourself even if you do "mess-up a bit". :ghug3
