Exclamation new comer

First time here, I do not completely understand how to navigate this site, Is there anyone that has recently quit drinking that would like to chat, do not have to be a recent quitter just thought it would be fun to start with someone and help each other through this diffcult time.
Thanks,

Hi and welcome! I love seeing these groups of newcomers come in about the same time and stick it out together, hang tight, I'm sure someone will be along shortly. You'll get used to navigating soon enough. We are glad you stopped by!

Thanks Kel
I know this is going to be extremely hard thanks for the support. My weakness is also alcohol.
I have a very good life, great husband and 2 very great children (14 and 12) and I have to stop this for their sake!!!!!!
I grew up the child of an alcoholic and swore I would never put my children through that and now look!!!!!
Thanks again

Welcome TML,

I'm glad you found us! I've been sober for awhile but grew up with an alcoholic mother and felt exactly the same as you do. It's amazing that I became exactly what I was striving so hard to avoid - unbelieveable.

You'll find lots of support and understanding here.

Love, Anna

Hi

I am new too with 2 alcohol free days. I am a mum with 2 teens and a 10 yr old and a supportive partner. Got to crack it this time as I realise I have so much to lose...
Looking forward to getting to grips with this site!

Smile I'm new too!

Hi tml & poppy!
I'm new also! 23 days and counting! This is a wonderful place to be for us! I have never felt so accepted! There is always someone here to talk to! All day long, if that is what your looking for! I know I need this place right now. I am struggling everyday, mostly with not feeling well physically, then it turns into emotionally, so, I come here! Keep coming back, it IS worth it, you'll see!
