Hang in there. We think our puter may have a virus, it is sooooo slow and acting funny. But, I haven't practiced the first step in this area of my life. Not ready to accept that I may need to dump the hard drive AGAIN.

hey lw, had similar problems recently and had to put pc back to factory settings and defrag it. it was running really slow and i was constantly getting popups. when we reinstalled, we put everything back in except the disc we'd gotten from the cable co. and its been running great ever since. huge improvement. good luck. i know how frustrating it can be. just keep looking for a solution, like every other problem in our lives today. i rent mine too and i hate it...mostly the payment. my ex has offered me one at no charge so i'm hoping to get rid of the rental the first of next week. hang in there. |

Computers are the bane off my life, at present my beloved but war torn mac refuses too: burn discs, type certain letters, have a battery life of more than 15 minutes and is real S-L-O-W.... It needs to go to mc hospital really, but thats 300 quid!! sigh..
