| Happy thanksgiving ladies....
However you are spending the holiday, I hope you enjoy it. We ALL have something to be grateful for, I know that just from reading posts and getting to know you. You maybe with family, you may not. but we are all sober, just for today and that is the greatest gift of all.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends. I'm heading to the folks tonight to spend four days with family and five, count 'em, five dogs.  I am excited, but nervous too. My family is probably as disfunctional as yours. lol:din For those of you without family, I hope you can spend some of the holiday with your new family in recovery. A lot of AA / NA groups are doing Alcathons over the holidays. These are 24 hour meetings, food and fellowship. Call your local office to find details. Remember, you are NOT ALONE! hugs, jojo |

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!! :ship CJ, We start eating tomorrow, then it is the food court at the mall during christmas shopping, holiday parties, Christmas or hannukah (sp) dinners, new years eve parties. It is the time of year to KILL all DIETS!!lol :familydin These little piggies are awesome!

Happy thanksgiving. I am fantisizing about an airmail package of two plates, plus one of desserts. What diet? Blessings and envy to all of you who are at a table full of food. The turkey, the noodles, and the date pudding is mine, all mine. I want the baby lima beans too. Dressing, gravy. You can have all the yams. But the pecan pie, I am guarding that too. Watch out, I bite!

Happy thanksgiving to all of you too! Thanks so much for everyone who has written to me and written to the many other people on here. Today is going to be a hard one for me, but I am going to make it through thanksgiving because I am thankful that god gave me the strength to go to OA and he will be with me today. Have a great time and everyone eat all the food for me!! :tongue2: :horn
