Please light a candle in honor of my son's death 1am tonight and one in honor of my loss and sorrow.

Thank you in advance.

It so happens I am dressed in black and lace today, going to a funeral, but somehow this is far more meaningful and important to me than a Thanksgiving feast. However, enjoy your feast and gluttony. Gluttony is my favorite sin. It's the one you can talk about in public. Feel no sorrow for me, please! PLEASE!

Thank you all, I have been so graced and blessed today, that today actually is an honor.
I am filled with serenity, peace, gratitude and thanksgiving.
Life, his, mine, yours is to be honored and cherished.
I am truly celebrating.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with love.
Life is for love and loving.
His love is not lost, nor is mine. Nor is yours.
A toast to each of you, may your day be filled with peace and contentment.
My vigil is near it's end, but it is not of sorrow, it is a celebration of the gifts.
I attended a beautiful mass for all struggling souls, my prayers are with YOU.

Live, I hope you don't mind me posting this, it has helped me celebrate the lives of the many I know who have moved further on down the path.......

No Birth, No Death
If we are mindful of the true nature of reality, then we never truly lose anyone--even to death.

Our greatest fear is that when we die we will become nothing. Many of us believe that our entire existence is only a life span beginning the moment we are born or conceived and ending the moment we die. We believe that we are born from nothing and that when we die we become nothing. And so, we are filled with fear of annihilation.
The Buddha has a very different understanding of our existence. It is the understanding that birth and death are notions. They are not real. The fact that we think they are true makes a powerful illusion that causes all our suffering. The Buddha taught there is no birth, there is no death; there is no coming, there is no going; there is no same, there is no different; there is no permanent self, there is no annihilation. We only think there is. When we understand that we cannot be destroyed, we are liberated from fear. It is a great relief. We can enjoy life and appreciate it in a new way.

Thank you all so very much.
I am well today, and it is due in great part to all of you.

I want to acknowledge that Zoomer set vigil with me all night last night. And a good part of the day
I sent an email of memorial and compassion to my daugher even tho she hates me right now. But it was the right thing to do.

I called my family today with true good cheer and celebrated with them. We laughed together.

My ex-boyfriend placed a dozen yellow roses on Eric's grave yesterday with a note telling him how much he was loved and missed. That meant alot to me too.

I attended a beautiful prayer service and then toasted my family in thanksgiving.

Thank you from the depths of my heart.

Now eat up. I am jealous. I want homemade noodles, date pudding, oyster shelf mushrooms fresh picked, persimmon pudding, turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing.
You can have all the yams!
