Light a candle
That even in pain, the universe graces us.
The night air is a cool soothing breeze.
The ceiling fan refreshes my room and caresses my skin tenderly, gently as a lover.

Light a candle
The things I need for my spirit are truth, beauty, justice, love and compassion.
Thank you that my home has the beauty that nourishes my soul and happiness.

Light a candle
For the friend who lifted a burden tonight with her willingness to share through the site of a group of humans whose only purpose is to gain health and share their experience, strength, hope, wisdom and love.

She wrote:
Being humiliated is not the same as having humility.
We have all suffered humiliation. Perhaps a spouse ridiculed us or a parents disorderly conduct shamed us in front of our friends. Perhaps a boss criticized us in front of co-workers.
However, we could have refused to let our egos be injured. Had we then the tools we have now, we could have felt compassion for the perpetrator. No healthy person heaps injury of any kind on another struggling soul. the program taught us this.
We have learned about true humility. To be humble is to surrender, to give up trying to change people and circumstances, to give up trying to force our will upon others. Humility is being quiet, being at rest, and being confident that God is present in every situation. Humility is being at peace, always.
No one can humiliate me today unless I accept that condition.

Light two candles
That their flame may burn higher and brighter.
A prayer for Danny and Arty who give friendship and love freely and equal to none.
That, because they both suffer, the light will shine to cease their pain and unrest.
And bring them solace and peace.

That I picked up a book that included a dialog with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama,
who wrote and spoke to me:
Any actions that leads to harmful consequences can be judged wrong, and an action that leads to beneficial consequences can be considered as a right action.
For reminding me, of Sunday worship, a cup of hot healing herb tea, and a rightful path to ease suffering
To love myself and my life.
And guide my path and desires.
And allow me to forgive myself.
Earlier he said that it was the intention, the motive that was the determinant. Not the outcome.

Light a candle
Tomorrow is a brand new day.
The past is gone, the future is an imagination.
And as we go about our day,
these candles burn and preserve
the prayers they represent.

And a time of silence
to hear the voices of gratitude
and the uplifting love
granted to any
who will listen
And always, a new chance

I have font trouble too! Thought provoking verse and very true, I am a great believer in candles to help light our way to lessen the burdens we all carry and just when it gets to hard to carry the flame flickers and we find a way to continue. Humility in all things is a very precious gift without humility we are lost in the density of matter. Your loved one's and friends are indeed blessed that you should help guide both them and yourself for by true humility only then are we not savages.
I will light a candle for you today Live share it's warmth with all who cross your path.
