Getting the best out of the program.

Hi I'm real gratiful to have 12 spiritual principles in my life today. Because I just don't want to act out in old behaviors, I say that to say this . Today I 'm trying to be a responsible , productive , member of society. By getting back into the work force. Now there was a member of the fellowship that gave me a lead on an opening, that I personally meant the quailifications for the job. And I picked-up an app, and spoke with the Director, for that unit. But when I shared that with that member she has been off-work for an injury , and at this time is on workmens- comp. She stopped talking to me , she said that I'm trying to pull the rug from under her , due to the fact that I've applyed for the job. I didn't think that it was the same job! , I was under the impression that we would be co-workers or work the same unit different shifts. I don't work out of the kit of deceit today , and was totally shocked when she spoke in the manner that she did. I was taught in the rooms that closed-mouths don't get fed. And that one addict helping another is with-out parellel. I don't steal today I earn my keep. So I will pray that God gives her an opened-mind to get honest enough to see that I'm just looking for work , and It would be really nice to work in the field of my choice. I know that my performance on that job would be great. Because that is my calling , and in saying I will let go , and let GOD's will be done . And keep coming back ! what do you think? That's tough-it's so hard to make someone else understand that you weren't out to hurt her, but only trying to help yourself. It may be that she is never able to understand this, and you can only try so many times before you must stop trying to make her understand...If you truly believe that you've explained to her how this happened, and that your true attempt was to work beside her, then you're right-it will be what it will be. Just remember that you are doing your very best for yourself, with God's help.

that is all you can do. Isn't knowing the our side of the street is clean a great feeling. Yes, it is true that we don't want people to be upset with us. But when I know my side of the street is clean, it is so much easier to just let it go and pray for that person. It is a great feeling.

Sometimes these things happen. You do something with the best intentions in mind, but you still can't make everyone happy. What you said is right, all you can do is pray for her.

Well I truly thank you girls ,for your encouragement . I know that in my heart that I feel good about my decision, and know that the Lord is in control. So I'll keep comin back. This is the unity of the program one helping another is with-out parellel. (Beloved).
