Talking The pay off of sobriety

After ruining my relationship with my son about three years ago,I have finally some good news!
He finally got in contact with me! And I am so thankful!
Answered prayers!!
Thankful for sobriety and thankful for second chances!

Yay to second chances Boop. I wish there enough of them for all of us. I'm so glad you have a chance to mend fences with your son. What an amazing gift!

I didn't lose my relationships with my kids, but things got pretty dismal, especially with my daughter. Things are really good now though, but it's still hard to forgive myself for letting my kids down. I've come a long way, but every so often the negative feelings that I don't deserve good relationships with my kids because of the choices I made pop into my head. Have you forgiven yourself for what you did in the relationship between you and your son? Just wondering...

Love, Anna

I remember a long time ago, how you worried over this. I think I mentioned your example of sobriety would pay off eventually. I am SO VERY happy for you, time does heal all wounds! *huge hugs*
