| Tinkerbell.
I wish I was skinny again!!! I took my son out tonite for his halloween costume and the party store had this GREAT Tinkerbell Costume for adults. If I were still skinny, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Woe is me. lol

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{namommy}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} your not alone in your wishin hunny~~~~size 10 just 6 months ago..tight 14~16 right now<sigh>I was taking meds that made me crave sweets even more than i already did~~Also had pain that didnt allow me to get around much anymore..So her i am ...No tinkerbell costumes for me either~~If you start after all the big holidays are over~~You could have the whole winter to get your self in shape for next summer..look at it that way~~I just wanted to let you know your not alone ~`

You're definitly not the only one who's put on the pounds, Namommy! I've gained 15lbs since I've been sober! And since I bartend, I naturally work with girls that would make a stick look fat. I went shopping for my halloween costume last week, and after seeing my new fat roll poke out of all the cute costumes finally just settled on a pair of wings. I've decided this year I'm going as a bartender who's too fat to wear anything cute! lol

I've put on 95 pounds since I've been clean, 25 much needed pounds in early recovery, and 70 pounds after I was put on medication. I have been off of the meds for a while now, but can't seem to lose the weight. And, I have become a Tink fan. I like peter pan, but the Tink thing has evolved. Tink played a big part in helping me through a mid-life crisis. I didn't want to grow up, and the only way to Never, Never land is to think happy thoughts and of course some fairy dust from tink, so I had a very large Tinkerbell tatooed on my left calf (exactly the same as my avatar). Now everyone knows me by my Tink tatoo, and people started buying me Tinkerbell stuff for birthdays and anniversaries, and sometimes just because and I have come to grow very fond of the feisty little fairy. lol

I have gained a whopping hundred pounds myself. Between steroids for my back,pain medications and anti depressants I have yet to lose. Now I am not on steroids and I got this new medication that does not cause weight gain I should start losing. I was one hundred thirty pounds myself when I got clean. The pounds came on quick. I would like to lose it all but am woprking on just losing fifty to start. The energy I got from this new medication should help me do this. I pray. You are not alone in this battle of the buldge...

I am 5'10" tall, and when I got clean (when they took me to jail) I only weighed 105 pounds. I looked like a skeleton. I needed the 25 pounds I put on at first, but never bargained for the rest. Oh well, I would rather be fat and happy than skinny and high.

lol here here. Wow you are tall. My Mom is that tall. On you a lot of weight must not seem so bad. one fifty I bet you would look good. I had a friend who was 5'8" and she was one seventy she won a bikini contest because it was all muscle. she looked great.
