| I got what I prayed for.
My employer called me at home this morning, and I will be going full time with them. We are going to go over my new schedule and benefits tomorrow when I go in. I do understand that I will be working at least 1 double shift (7am to 9pm) each week, maybe 2. When I got the call, a combination of relief, excitement and fear hit me all at once, and I felt like I was going to puke. I must have been more stressed out over this than I thought, because after it sank in and I relaxed, I felt like I had hit a brick wall and just ran out of gas. I have had such a hard time going today, even just keeping my eyes open. This is what usually happens to me when I calm down after being very stressed out. This is a good thing. Now I don't have to worry (as much) about how I am going to maintain this big house. I am also excited about the benefits. Yes, the medical and prescription plans are great, but I am REALLY excited out the dental plan. My husband and I have the worst teeth in NA. It is the one area that we lack self acceptance. Neither of us really smiles as much as we want to because of it. Now, we can fix our teeth and truly show our pearly whites.

Thank you Ladies, I am really excited. I can't believe after 3 years of being sick and on disability, that it is finally over and I can return to work healthy and happy.

Well, I got all the paperwork for my benefits package today. They are going to go over my schedule and finalize it tomorrow. At this point it looks like I will still be off on fridays, which is fine by me. I would rather work 4 long days, and have a long weekend. Thank you all for all of your support.

It went very well, thanks for asking. I got the books and forms for my benefits package, and my schedule is still in limbo. I know I will be working mon - Thurs. and have off on fridays, it's just a matter of deciding if I am working doubles on Mon and Thurs, or just Monday. They will let me know next week. My full time schedule will go into effect on Nov. 1.
