Talking I caught her...RED HANDED!!!!!

Ok, remeber how I was telling ya'll that my cat Tony was peeing & pooping on my bed & stuff??? Well, it hasn't been happening, thank goodness, UNTIL this morning! :ugh2: It's not Tony...it's my other cat...Chelsea!!!! and she's an older cat, like 8 yrs old, well I figured out why she does this, Tony, whom is 10 months old (fisty as anything...play play play, that's all he does!lol gets into EVERYTHING!! LOL) well, when i seen her starting to pee on my couch this morning......I grabbed her, and put her in her litter box...well.....TONY (Trouble, I'll call him for now) won't let poor Chelsea go to the bathroom, he sneaks up on her & traps her in the litter box( it has a big cover) & wants to play with her, thinking she's playing hide & seek!!!! So, Chelsea, whom isn't really fond of Tony anyways...jumps out & runs & Tony is still chasing her!!!!!!! Chelsea just puts up w/Tony she doesn't like him all that well! lol well...doesn't like him at all!!!! She's kinda like a loner cat, but sleeps with me to were Tony is VERY VERY ACTIVE! lol
I've had Chelsea a loooooooooooooong long time!
So there is the story to the Pooping & Peeing Problems!!! Denise the Detective has SOLVED HER CASE!!!!!! hahahahaha!!!

Now....I think I've gotta get another litter box! What do you think??? Anna? have any suggestions to this case?? hahahahahaha!

Yes do get another litter box. Also you might try locking the kitten away for awhile some time during the day to give the older cat some peace and quiet. I pet sat for a 2 cat household with the same situation. The older cat could not even eat in peace the kitten was having so much fun. Every other day, I locked the kitten in one part of the house and the older cat in the other. This was of course with the owners approval. Kitten was not pleased, older cat very happy. dax

This is hilarious as my kids' names are Tony and Chelsea. So when I read your post I couldn't help but get the image of my own kids doing those things. Wouldn't put it past Tony to trap his sister in a litterbox!

Hi again Butterfly,
Tony is 10 and Chelsea is 13. So funny too... they have the personality of your cats! Tony is active, active, active and Chelsea is more of a loner. I met someone else years ago with 2 dogs named Tony and Chelsea too. Hmmmm, no wonder my kids have so many pets.

I'm thinking that Tony & Chelasea are VERY popular names!!! My 7 yr old named Tony herself, then Chelsea was giving to me about 8-9 yrs ago,
How funny this is!

Hi Denise,

I've only ever had one cat at a time but sometimes you need to have two litter boxes with two cats. I have friends with cats who need two and some who can share. It's worth a try because that must be funny to watch but poor Chelsea may just want a bit more privacy!

Good luck!

Love, Anna

hello Denise i have 6 cats myself before I had 12(or was it thirtheen)some people call me catwoman and we had some peeing problems too..First you try to make sure that chelsey can't come near the bed if that's imposible you put some "desinfectionalcohol"(I think that's what you call it) on your clean sheets on the place where she normaly peed or poeped..If that don't work you have to put a big plastic bag on your bed eventualy too with the alcohol..It makes that if she pees she will sit in her own water and becose cats are very clean Animals they wont do it again...It is very important that you buy a new catliter and put it on a quit place or if you put it next to the other one(it will work)put one without cover..If chelsey have the intention to go on that old liter because she is used too..Than it's better to take the cover of too..Stefanie

Thanks areies! But guess what ya'll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There has been NO poop or peeing in my house since I last posted this! Wooohooo, I think the 2nd litterbox really helped! I put the other litterbox in the laundry room! and that's close to my bedroom where Chelsea like to hang out most, to were Tony hangs out more in the dinning room & living room!
