Lightbulb Movies!!!!!!

I love renting movies, going to the movies all that fun stuff. and ya know how after you watch a good flick, you wanna talk about it!! right?
So I thought that maybe we could make a movie thread, & talk about movies we seen or haven't seen, what do ya'll think??

Like for instance this past weekend I seen...
1. Man on Fire~~~ which was really really good, i thought, it just disturbed me in a sense, but I love Denzel Washington.

then I seen
2. Twisted...it was ok

I seen Second Hand Lions, it turned out to be pretty good, I'm a movie fanatic, ya'll wanna talk MOVIES??

Hey BF, yeah! I love movies. I am home bound (cause of eyes) and have a huge tv. I get all the HBO and Max channels. I love to go to the movies. I'm going to try to get the husband to take me to 'the forgotten'. LOL, he was suppose to take me Friday. but, as usual, he wants to go to houseboat (sorry, another story). Has anyone seen the forgotten? Is it good? I like Juliane Moore.

I too really love movies. Esspecially old movies. Last night on TCM was "morocco" Dietrich and Cooper. How dreamy. you could tell they weren't used to "talking" they had so few lines!! It's just so wonderful how we have a little piece of visual history. I'm also wanting to see "team america" It just looks too funny.

If you like quirky cult films, Nine Dead Gay Guys was pretty good. I'm waiting for The Grudge to come out tomorrow, it looks really scary.

Fraility was an excellent movie, it was pretty twisted, tho. And I actually really enjoyed Mean Girls, but you may want to preview it before letting the kiddos watch it. I rented it for my ten year old daughter, but I watched it first and found it wasn't as kid appropriate as I'd thought. It would be fine for teenagers, but probably not the younger preteens.
My favorite movies:
Moulin Rouge, Clockwork Oarnge, Edward Scissorhands, Bad Santa, Office Space, Arlington Road, Interview with the Vampire, Shrek, and Natural Borne Killers

I'm a big movie buff too! Loved Second Hand Lions, and The Forgotten, oh lordy, got to see it, excellent scares!

Been wanting to see the Manchurian Candidate, the new version.

Who has seen "The Village"? I'm not sure if it's worth the bucks, but maybe at the $1 movie? Though initially I couldn't wait to see it, but heard so many negatives thought I'd wait.

My very favorite movie: "Ladyhawk"

The Manchurian Candidate was an excellent book, the movie previews look a lot different, but I'm still looking forward to checking it out. If you're a reader you should really give the book a shot, tho.
