Hello Ladies, I wanted to stop in and let you all know I had my surgery this morning. I had an endometrial ablation (they fried my uterus). I am still kind of groggy, and VERY crampy. I haven't been able to get on the past few days, or I would have posted about it before hand. I did have a problem in the recovery room, and I was almost admitted to the hospital, but all is well now, and I am home. I am not going to stay on, I am feeling a bit queezy. Hopefully, I will be able to stop in and catch up tomorrow.

Good morning (not) I had a rough night last night. I was up and down all night with discomfort, pain, and very strange bizarre nightmares. I don't feel good this morning either, but I can't take the pain meds yet. I have to stay awake to get the kids off to school. My husband took off yesterday, but we weren't planning on this morning. I figured if I come on line for a while, it will help take my mind off of things.

Good afternoon ladies, Thank you all for the well wishes. I am still feeling a little crappy, but much better than I was. My kitchen is a mess, and I am trying to ignore it until the kids get home to have them do it (they left the mess last night). My husbands keeps checking in on me, and telling me I better not do anything, and I am trying to listen. At least I am one step closer to the end here, just a few more doctors appointments and another iron infusion to go, and then just annual check ups. I can't wait for that to happen.lol I will be stopping in from time to time as I feel better. I have a very strange headache, that I can't seem to get rid of.

Namommy, Well, I am glad you are feeling better, but your hubby has good advice. Don't do anything. No one ever got arrested for a dirty kitchen! Drink lots of fluids and do a lot of coughing adn deep breathing. That will clear out the effects of the anesthesia that linger for 48-72 hours. The more your deep breath and cough, the quicker the gas of the anesthesia is forced out of your lungs. ( old nurse talking!) Enjoy the couple days of pampering. real life will soon resume!

Good morning ladies, Thank you all again for the well wishes. I am feeling much better today. I started to feel much better by last night. The kids cleaned up the kitchen, but not the way I would so that will get finished today. I've already started the laundry and cleaned up the livingroom. Someday, I will learn to sit still.lol

Namommy, Sorry I missed it all I was busy myself with groups and court. I hope you stay feeling better. Your hubby is one hell of a guy. You are blessed. You must allow yourself to heal though. Just because you are feeling a little better don't mean you should be running around doing everything. The house will still be standing tomorrow and your children can keep it livable until you feel alot better never mind a little. Take it from me after my first back surgery I was trying to do everything I did before I got hurt all it did was land me back into another surgery. So as they say in the program "easy does it" sit back and relax. I too; in the past, needed my house done my way. I am not sure what happend but I changed and am no longer obsessed about every little thing in my house. Get some rest and I hope you feel even better tomorrow. My prayers are with you and They are very powerful. LOL.
