Need prayers please! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

We just found out this morning that my brother was admitted into the hospital because of breathing problems.They found a blockage in his heart and have to do surgery.
Man!! This seems to run in my family! It is really starting to worry me.First my mom,and now him.
We cannot be with him during the surgery cause we live so far apart...so Im praying for him.
I strongly beleive in the power of prayer,and could use some right now.Thanks!

Talked to brother late last nite.They did an angioplasty.It got rid of the blockage but now his lungs keep filling up with fluid.They put him on some medication,but he sounds really great!
They will monitor him for a couple of days to see how it goes.

Thanks so so much! Talked to brother again last night.He has congestive heart failure.
So he will have to be on medication from now on.

For now,he is doing pretty good.Thanks for the prayers!

I will add him in my evening prayers. I am sorry to hear about his heart and your mom as well. i think its a good time for you to get yourself tested as well. Don't wait get it done now before something bad happens.
