Good bye one and all I am moving into my new place this weekend and the computer isn't coming with. Thank you everyone even the new comers, you all have spoken to me in one way or another. Because of a 12 step program and the wonderful people in that program and the grace of God I will have 1 year clean on Sept 18. A miracle has happened here. An honest to God miracle. One year ago I did not beleave this could happen to me. One year ago I felt hopeless and alone. There was no sollution to my addiction. Today I still battle some deamons, but I battle those with my higher power at my side and in my heart. And you know what, life is ok. It's not great mind you but for today it is ok. And that is a far cry from were it used to be. To those of you who feel hopeless and alone.....you are not alone....we are here just waiting to reach out a hand of encouragement all you have to do is ask for help and it comes. For those of you who have reached out to me I thank you. I read these posts almost every day and you all have helped me with the telling of your stories and trials and tribulations and seeing how your higher power has worked in your lives....Thank you.

That is it, we are not alone. And the saying my worst day sober is still better than my best day using is SO true.

Congrats to you and keep doing what you are doing. I hope that you get a computer soon and are able to join us again. We all need each other to get through this, to stay sober one day at a time.

I hope you can get another computer some day and join us again. Until then good luck on your new journey (both moving and reocvery) you will find many happy times as long as you stay sober. Remember what you have learned in here and still comtinue with meetings and what ever else you have started(counceling,ect). I know that this site has brought me many happy times and You will always have S.R. to turn to if you need it. Also librarys have computers you can use once in a while to touch base if you want. As I said good luck and carry on the message to others who may need it like you did in the begining.

Good luck in your journey. Try to stop in once in a while, like others said, go to the library. We'll miss you.
