cat got out through sceen last night

I am devistated. I just don't know what to do. We woke up to the screen being throuwn out and the cat gone. I have to goto group and I am horrified. I have been sick and crying. I just didn't know what to do. Outside screeming for her to come eat. She never been outside. I came in and started to pray and her she come jumping through the window. How can you love a cat so much. My daughter went to school crying. So I called told them she came home. Oh the horrible feeling I felt. I think she was raped poor thing had her bum all dirty with more then poop I feel so bad for her. So I washed her now she is probblly mad she came home to a washing. Had to though. She must have been so scared out there. Now I gota pull my self together for group. Well thats my morning in a nut shell got to go. Talk more when I get home. My heads a pounding.

sorry to hear about your poor lil witty!!!!! Was the screen loose?she probably did get ticked when she came home and had to get a bath..however they know we love them and just takin care of them!!!!! my witty ran out the door one night when i came home late..i didnt notice till morning..after i took the kids to school..i didnt see him.started calling and calling..nothing...i was freakin out...i go outside in my{ jammies /no shoes}..started callin his name..i hear a cry from the back ..there he is in the neighbors yard..such relief!!!!! i hopped the fence run over get him and just hold him like my baby {crying.}..lol
He goes out once in a while on a leash but not ever by himself he is also declawed..so i was freakin out like you said you did...i am glad you have a happy ending ....they become a part of our family...very glad you got her back..

Yes it is amazing how much we love our animals. Your cat came home safe and sound and that is a good thing. I am glad you called your daugher at school, she was probably heart broken.

Well just got home from group and found she had eaten and is now out from under the couch and on top of it. Purring when I picked her up I guess to say thank you. When I got home I guess I was so upset earlier I actually got sick. I hadn't eaten anything so it was even worse. I feel a bit better now after a couple bites of a breakfast sandwhich. I really think a boy cat got a hold of her. Guess I will know in about nine weeks right.LOL. I am just so relieved she is ok. She has never been out and its a very busy street. She came home right when I started talking to my higher power. Thank god we have such a good relationship me and him lol,. I do hope they gave my daughter the message. I am so busy today. Just had to pop back in to let ya all know I am a bit better. Then off to the dr.s then school shopping then gotta get perscriptions pay bills arg!!! I will be dead tired when I am done. To think my kitty pulled this on one of my busiest days of the year. She is safe thank god but I still have the empty pit icky stomach feeling that just won't quit and just barelly stopped having a killer headache. Actually its still here now that I think about it. Group went ok although my headache and icky feeling had me distracted. Next week will be better I am sure.Well let yall know how the doc goes and if I live through this busy day>LOL. Gotta go post the daily reading its a good opne check it out>>

Please do just gave her a flea bath and we know its only teporary thesew darn bathes don't work well. She is loaded with them again arrggg they are jsut horrible bugs. She was just in some terrible shape yesterday. Poor thing had the sh** scared out of her so I had to wash her better anyway so flea bath today. She means the world to me. Sooo glad your lil kitty came back! They are so independent...those little beasts!

My friend's kitty kept sneaking out...and one day she followed him (like a spy) down the street...and he went straight to the Chinese neighbor's house!!! The Chinese lady was feeding him huge bowls of Chineese dumplings and fried fish. Now THAT explained the 10 lbs he had gained in the last month!!

Yes and oddly she is so loveable today. Shes nice and clean and I love her but she usually only accepts love when she wants it about twice a day. Today however shes been purring and rubbing on me and jumping in my lap. She came in for her early morning rub down at four and stayed on my chest for like ten minutes just rubbing and purring. Just not like her maybe she was happy I got rid of some(and I mean only some) of those darn fleas. Its just not like her. I also am spoiling her with fancy feast. I was feeding her nine lives but I would put half the can in her dish and refrigerate the other half when time to eat again she would not touch it. I thought maybe cause it was cold so I kept it out and she still would not touch it. I also noticed the mell of it changed fussy darn cat so I figure the fancy feast cans are smaller and just enough for her to eat. I would end up throwing the rest of the nine lives anyway. She really likes it too. I just hope she stays this loveable cause I kinda like it. Usually have to chase her down for love. Well thanks for caring everyone. Sorry I am so darn goo-goo over my kitty but I hang out with her all the time shes like family. My wittle baby i wove her sow>>>OH My God the funniest thing just happend she is laying next to me on the couch well she started to stretch and when she did she took her two front paws and covered her eyes with them as she strtched oh how I want a pic of this. So damned cute gosh. Literlly covered her eyes with them LOL.Like playing peek-a-boo. I need a hobby I think LOL.

i had a cat like how you said your has been...i didnt keep her long though cause she got really mean..but the one we have had for the past 4 yrs now is so precious to us!! he sits on my lap when i am trying to type sometimes..lol..or he will come up to my chair and give me a nudge with his lil paw..like hey im right here pay attention to me...lol.
they have gratitude once they get out into the world and come home again ..thats how mine was ..real lovey,,like a thank you for saving me...lol

I almost feel bad for her now. She had a taste of the outside and now sits in the window with a longing look like she just wants to be out there in the world. I fear her getting killed though this neighborhood is full of stry cats, dogs and traffics very busy too. Why do I feel I am trapping her from a better life. I just love her to much to let her out but then I feel like a prison warden. What do I do?

she will stop that after a while....my witty cries at the door to go out...i havent let him out in a while but when i do he wears a leash..at first he didnt like it..now he knows he wont be going anywhere without it,,,he actually likes it..

Hey Bubbs. Sorry to hear your cat got out. You might want to call the spca to see if they have a spay/neutor program. someplaces have it so you don't have to pay. And, yes they can do it NOW. I know that sounds terrible, but we don't need anymore homeless kittens or puppys in the world. I'm an animal lover. I have 5 dogs, and want another. So anyway, glad she came home. Take care.

I know what ya mean becky but I always allow my cats to get pregnant once. The cats are always given a good home. I know there are lots of strays but I just feel they deserve the rights as females to ahve at least one litter then I fix them.
wt4m I was thinking of that. I am going to get a leash and take her for walks heck I will get something out of it to exersize. The more the better everyone wins.LOL

I understand. My husband thinks I'm crazy because I love my pets so much. But, they keep me going. I'm trying to get him to let me get another. Anyways, I hope he comes thuough. We had a big agrument last night ovre my pets. He thinks I need therapy, not AA. I thought he was going to be supportive, but nope. Anyway, feeling pretty low. Guess I'll go pack somemore. House finally sold. I don't know where I'm going yet. Feel like there's a big hole in my middle. Hope he lets me get the one he made me give up, back. I'm just preying.

well gl to ya becky. Don't give up. I wouldn't give em up for the world. My poor kitty is having no luck this last two weeks. She likes to chase flys and eventually she eats them. Well, she jumped up in the window and caught what I thought was a fly and she howled I mean howled turns out it was a damn bee. I felt so bad for her. oh boy did I squash that bee. She wont let me see if the stinger is stuck in her paw. I hope not. She hisses when I try it hurts her so. my poor witty.
