1st day of school.

well, this is it. 1st day of school. Having mixed emotions. Good, they are going back and will be doing something other than fighting and getting on each others nerves. Not so good, I no longer get to sleep in on Mon and Thurs. (I work nights on those days). And this morning, I realized how pathetic I am. My bedroom is down stairs, and the kids bedrooms are upstairs. I found myself looking up the steps thinking, "Oh god, I have to do this sh*t every morning" (meaning climb the stairs). But, this is OK, maybe I'll burn some of the fat off of my legs.lol

Well, I am bracing myself for the mountains of paperwork I will have to fill out when I get home from work tonite.

i dont even have to walk up stairs and felt the same way...lol ..lazy daze of summer are gone ..till next year!! i tell myself it could be like last yr for me..i had to wake the kids up and rush out the door to go to work..this year i can go back to sleep for a bit if i want...then again i miss working..lol
this time next week i will be babysitting 2 lil ones..so i am gonna enjoy this weeks rest..i had lots of paper work last week..it will be done b4 you know it...enjoy your day..

Yes....1st day of school.

I'm truly grateful that I am not hungover for it. I'm truly grateful that I'm here to see my son off to school with his lunch pail etc..

I don't even care that it is an old lunch pail...I have more important things to concern myself with today..like staying sober so I can pick him up from school and drive him home safe. There was a time when I couldn't count on myself to do that. But today...is a new day!
